DUNCAN Manufacturing Process Evaluation (DMPE)

DMPE is a free service and a valuable resource for Engineers, Manufacturing and Production Managers and the like.

Here’s how it works. At your request, we will come on-site to evaluate a specific manufacturing operation. We will discuss with you the problems you may be having as well as what improvement objectives you desire. Our experienced review team will then analyze the process and provide you with a written report of recommended actions. What happens from there is entirely up to you. There is no commitment required, but if you desire, we are glad to work with you to help implement the proposed improvements.

What is involved in the Evaluation? 

• Assess: In this first step we will discuss your process, review your goals and objectives (i.e. less scrap, faster cycle time) then observe the process in action to identify its strengths and weaknesses.
• Analyze: Next, the DUNCAN review team will give the process a thorough evaluation.
• Advise: Then, we’ll provide you with a detailed written report with recommended actions such as: Apply new technologies, Revise workflow, Modify or replace tooling or equipment or even No changes suggested.

 What are some possible Applications?  

• Some potential evaluation areas are Product Assembly, Metal Cutting and Forming, Product Inspection and Testing, Material Handling and Many Others.

 How do I to use this Service?          

• Simply fill out and submit a DMPE application form (pdf) and a DUNCAN representative will contact you to begin the process. Completed forms can be faxed to 937.667.8472 or emailed to DTI@DuncanTool.com.

 Are there any Terms or Restrictions?         

• DMPE includes one free on-site visit and report per process/operation. Follow-up meetings and visits may be subject to consultation fees. Distant clients (beyond 80 mile radius) are welcome but may incur travel charges. Duncan Tool, Inc. reserves the right to refuse or limit this service at its discretion.
